The pentaprism reflects the incident image at an angle of 90° due
to the aluminum reflection on the side. The image can be erected without
being flipped horizontally.
Since it deviates at a fixed angle of 90° with respect to the incident angle, the image is easy to capture and can be used for a wide variety of purposes.
